The main job which we expect of our Hunters is that they hunt for the pack - a rather important job as they're providing the pack with their food source; which they'd die without. Hunters will always be hunting, making sure that the kill pile is stocked, and making sure there's food which caters to all members preference. They will also take on the responsibility of keeping tabs on herds, knowing which prey is available in which areas and cleaning out the kill pile - they'll need to be skilled and persistent in what they do, they'll need the knowledge and ability to hunt many different types of prey. Without them the pack would most certainly starve.
When approaching a Hunter can go solo or with a group; going solo they will be able to catch smaller prey, with a group they will be able to hunt much larger prey, or a greater quantity of smaller prey.
They will be required to not only hunt, but Hunters will be expected to join training sessions and spars, which can be based on their rank, another or just for fun - this will make sure that they're at their peak level of fitness, but will also make sure that they're able to defend themselves should they ever need it.

Hound OH I >> IV This is the starting rank for the Hunter branch. For this rank you will get your first tier, 'I', when you join, the next 1-2 tiers will be your activity tiers. However, when at your second tier, 'II', you are able to receive your first training session. With this rank you will be required to show basic skills when it comes to hunting. You won't be expected to be exceptional, but you are required to have a fair understanding and amount of detail. You can start off with smaller prey and work your way up, however, you will be shown how to hunt all kinds of prey, as well as how it is to hunt solo and with a group. Learning both how to hunt and track will be shown to you at this rank, and you will be expected to show just how much you have learnt regarding these subjects. Cleaning the kill pile, sparring and participating in training sessions will be expected at any rank, most specifically IV.
Chaser OC V >> VIII This is a step up from the rank of the Hound. You will have the same duties as you previously did, however you'll be expected to show more detail in your posts, show a greater understanding and your ability to hunt and perform to a good standard is what's required of this rank. Not only will you maintain the responsibilities which you already had, but at the rank of VIII you will have the ability to train those below you. Supervision is required at this rank, however, if you prove that you're able to train others, you will be given the go ahead to train without supervision - this is only if you're able to host a session with very little to no issues, and you're able to give feedback, correct feedback, both in-game and on reports.
Venator OV IX >> XII Another step up from that of the Chaser rank. All responsibilities which you previously had will remain, though from here your detail, ability to hunt, spar, clean the pile should be exceptional. Your detail will need to improve as you rank too, and when hitting IX >> X you should know near enough the ins and outs of the branch, being able to offer help and guidance when needed. Training without supervision as allowed when hitting IX, and therefore giving feedback and such should come naturally. You're a role model, a leader - and therefore you should be able to lead and join hunts with little to no issues. Your fighting skills will also improve, which can also be taught to those lower in your branch.
Marauder M I or MarauderThis is the rank of the Master Hunter, one who is in charge of the entire Hunter Branch. They're required to keep everything in check, and should know pretty much everything involving the Hunter Branch - where prey is, most effective way to hunt, how to track properly, how to be a leader, guide members - overall be a good, respectful role model. They will still perform hunts, and should encourage Hunters to hunt, as a high rank they hold a greater responsibility and should show just how to do their job more, they're able to and should give and host sessions, as well as host and join any from the branch. They generally have a greater ability in combat due to the training, and being able to defend themselves is relatively important.

Why it's Important: Cleaning the kill pile is important as after so long the food in the pile will rot, which means a breeding ground for bacteria and maggots - which if left too long, or the food is eaten, will be potentially dangerous to anyone who eats the meat. With it clean means sickness won't be an issue, but the rotten meat won't stink out the territory and draw unwanted attention; being cleaned will also make way for more food to be added. How to Tell if it's Bad: Smell - It will have a distinct, pungent smell Texture - Sticky or slimy Colour - Bird meat will go either blue-ish white or yellow, certain meat will go greyish-pink, purple/brownish-red, or a green-ish colour.
Cleaning the Pile: Step 1 - First you will need to sort the good prey from bad. Make two separate piles; one good and one bad, and sort the meat carefully, if there is the slightest sign the meat is off then it's best to label it bad as a precaution - unless a higher ranked Hunter says otherwise. Step 2 - Because of all the meat piled in one area, a goo-like substance will be left behind. Get some pine needles and any type of nice, smelly flower and mix it with the goo. All of the goo then needs collected and disposed of correctly; throw it in the water - unless there's another suitable place for disposal. Step 3 - Collect water in either a stone-like bowl or a coconut shell, which then needs to be poured on to the area where the prey was once piled to help wash away what's left. Step 4 - Toss the bad prey in to the water to dispose of it, and then the grey can be placed back in its designated location.
